HOW TO USE ZOHO INVOICE ON YOUR PHONE

But if you prefer step by step, here it is

1. Set Up a New Contact

  1. Open the Zoho Invoice App on your phone.

  2. Tap the three lines (☰) in the top-left to open the menu.

  3. Select “Contacts” from the menu.

  4. Tap the “+” icon (usually bottom-right) to create a new contact.

  5. Fill in the key fields:

    • Contact Name (e.g., client name or business)

    • Email Address (important for sending invoices)

    • Phone Number (optional but handy)

    • Currency (default is GBP, but you can change if needed)

  6. Tap “Save” (top-right corner).

✅ Your contact is now set up and ready for invoicing!


2. Create and Send Your First Invoice

  1. From the dashboard, tap “Invoices” in the menu.

  2. Tap the “+” icon to create a new invoice.

  3. Select the contact you just created.

  4. Fill in the invoice details:

    • Invoice Date (usually today)

    • Payment Terms (e.g., Due on Receipt, 14 days, etc.)

    • Add Items or Services:

      • Tap “+ Add Item”

      • Enter item name (e.g., “Bookkeeping – March”)

      • Enter rate and quantity

    • VAT will auto-calculate if set up.

  5. Tap “Preview” (optional) to check the layout.

  6. Tap “Save and Send”.

  7. Choose how you want to send it:

    • Email

    • WhatsApp

    • Copy the link

Your first invoice is now sent!


3. Set Up Recurring Invoices (Repetitive Billing)

  1. From the dashboard, go to “Recurring Invoices”.

  2. Tap the “+” icon to set up a new one.

  3. Choose the contact.

  4. Fill in the details:

    • Start Date (when billing begins)

    • Repeat Every (e.g., 1 month)

    • Ends: Never or after X occurrences

    • Add items/services just like a normal invoice

  5. Choose whether it should:

    • Send automatically

    • Or Create draft only (you approve before sending)

  6. Tap “Save”.

Your client will now be billed automatically based on the schedule you’ve set.
